The Strathearn Artspace Project is based in the former public library on Comrie Street Crieff. The project’s goal is to transform the building into a centrally located focus of entertainment in Crieff, thereby bringing both visitors and new business into the town.

Strathearn Artspace is a registered charity ( SCIO SC 044319 ) and its charitable purposes are:
– The advancement of education.
– The advancement of citizenship or community development.
– The advancement of the Arts, heritage, culture or science.
– The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.

With information days, art exhibitions, social events and workshops all taking place, accessible to residents and visitors alike, Strathearn Artspace has the potential to be one of Crieff’s leading resources.

After gaining some Lottery funding in 2013 and an application lodged with Perth and Kinross Council to change the use of the building from a library to a fully fledged entertainment venue,  the project is developing.

Why don’t you pop along and have a look for yourself at what they have to offer.
