Glenturret Distillery Celebrates 240 years

 

distillery2Celebrating 240 years of making whisky in Crieff, Glenturret Distillery is throwing open its doors to the public on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, offering access-all-areas with free tours of Scotland’s Oldest Working Distillery.

Visitors will get the opportunity to immerse themselves in Glenturret Distillery’s history, sample some drams and learn about the traditional artisan methods that are still used to produce whisky on site, By Hand and By Heart, today.

The open weekend will mark the end of an exciting week of activities for the distillery with a world record attempt to bring together the largest number of people to ‘raise a dram’ at the same time, taking place on Thursday 5th November at 5pm at the distillery.
